An Image Processing Based System for Leaf Area Measurement

A novel implementation solution for leaf area measuring system is presented. The solution based on image processing techniques obtain the real area of a leaf by processing and (analy-)(zing) the digital photos that contain the leaf and a reference plane board. Based on the implementation solution, the authors have developed an application software to measure leaf area and the measure results are very satisfactory.
